Carin Wester
Carin Wester graduated 1998 from Beckman's School of Design and short thereafter started to work as a designer for Swedish label "Paul & friends". In November 2003, she started her own brand "Carin Wester". The label quickly became noticed by high profiled stores because of its androgynous shapes and urban, playful expressions. Today, her collection consists of a female line ("Carin Wester"), a male line ("Wester") and the limited, handmade line ("W"). The collections are sold in 15 countries all over the world. Since the launching of the brand, Carin has been awarded "Newcomer of the Year" by Swedish Elle magazine (2004), was nominated "designer of the Year"(2005) by Elle magazine, as well as becoming one of the finalists in Ernst and Young's "Female starlet of the Year 2008". In August 2009, she won the prestigious prize "Guldknappen" from Swedish magazine Damernas Värld.
Dario's
Itai Mintz was born in Tel Aviv (Israel) in 1984. After studying in the visual communication design department of Holon institute of technology and participating in 3D medeling courses, in january Mintz established the label "Dario's" that is named after his Greek grandfather.
An ambition to implement a new sophisticated approach of jewerly making and a continuous pursuit after the original modern beauty, have motivated Itai Mintz to create a unique authentic zone of refined style. Mintz's design is based on the transformation of 3D forms into 2D forms and backward, using transparent and opaque materials and on a strong attraction to turn tribal ritual art into radical innovation. His works feels like hybrids of genders and eras.
Decadent
Designer Karina Mundt founded DECADENT in May 2005 and the first bag was launched in August the same year. The company has expanded from it early beginning from only carrying one style, to now having a complete bag and accessory collection. The company is owned and run by Karina Mundt.Karina Mundt was born in 1973 in the Western countryside of Zealand - Denmark.After graduation as a textile buyer in1998, Karina spent years working for different brands as designer and buyer. Karina is one of the few Danish designers that exclusively design leather bags. Her love for bags have always been there, and when she found her mothers bag, an old 70’ties full grained leather working bag, the idea for the company was established.
Emilie Hagen
Emilie Hagen is a Danish jewelry company founded by Emilie Høeg Hagen in 2008.Emilie Høeg Hagen began developing her own jewelry designs in 2007 and has launched her first collection under her own jewelry brand EMILIE HAGEN. In Febuary 2009 “"The First Collection”" was introduced at CPH Vision during the Copenhagen Fashion Week.Emilie Høeg Hagen grew up on the former Danish West Indian Island, St. Thomas, in the Caribbean. This is where much of her inspiration for her first collection comes from.Emilie Høeg Hagen has an economical background with a Bsc. in economics and business administration from Copenhagen Business School. At the moment she is finalizing her Masters degree in marketing while building/establishing the EMILIE HAGEN brand.
Joline Jolink
Dutch designer brand JOLINE JOLINK brings fashion 'for women with something to do.' Versatile designs for every occasion. Always practical, always stylish and always comfortable in the most beautiful natural materials.JOLINE JOLINK was founded in 2006 by designer Joline Jolink. She graduated from the Arnhem Academy of Arts in 2003 and from the master course Fashion Institute Arnhem in 2005. Every collection is inspired by a strong woman from the past. Women that followed their hearts, often in difficult circumstances, but without losing their femininity. This inspiration is translated into modern and wearable designs for today’s busy women.
Kymare
Kymare was founded in 2005 by designer Kim Wormgoor. She creates clean, carefree, refined but also distinctive summer wear for women who want to stand out around the pool and in the city. Kim has born in 1979, and in 2002 she graduated from the Academy of Arts in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Her career began with the debut of her first swimwear collection at the 2003 “Mittelmoda Fashion Awards” in Grado, Italy. This collection won the event’s prize for swimwear. In recent times the Kymare collections have been received with worldwide enthusiasm, and have been featured in important fashion magazines such as American Vogue. Over the last four years, Kymare has expanded and continues to grow rapidly. Her designs now sell at respected stores in 7 countries across Europe, Asia and North America.
Tesj
Carmen Gloudemans's accessory label 'Tesj bags + accessories" is inspired by the sixties and seventies, with shape and finish a defining feature. Her signature is simplicity, luxury, and functionality. In the current collection this translates into clear forms employing leather as a powerful and durable material. With off-colours such as taupe, smog, and flamingo Carmen creates a trendy retro touch.
In 2002 Carmen graduated from the fashion department of Arnhem's Academy of Arts. Bags have always been important in her life: "When i was young I collected special bags from the 60s and 70s. My mother had many bags and shoes that I liked to wear so much”. In 2003 she started her own label. Gloudemans designs are tough in the material, yet surprisingly elegant in the details. Her technique is pure in expression and Carmen leaves themes for what they are. The accessibility of the designs is important for her: "Everything that’s not necessary in a design I leave out”.
